Mike’s practice includes:
- Acquisition & Development – Representing clients in the acquisition and subsequent construction, development and disposition of commercial and residential properties, including office buildings, apartments, single family residential communities, condominiums, mixed-use projects, shopping centers, build-to-suit retail projects, hotels, restaurants and industrial facilities.
- Healthcare Real Estate – Representing healthcare service providers in connection with the acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing of medical office buildings, hospitals, walk-in urgent care clinics, behavioral centers, surgical centers, pharmacies and senior living communities throughout the country, including analysis of operational and regulatory issues.
- Commercial Leasing – Representing landlords and tenants in drafting and negotiating leases covering a variety of uses in stand-alone and multi-tenant buildings throughout the country, including leases for general office, hospitality and retail space.
- Real Estate Finance – Representing lenders and borrowers in connection with construction loans and acquisition and project financings.
Mike currently serves on the board of directors for the Pencil Foundation, Nashville Downtown Partnership and the Middle Tennessee CCIM Chapter. He is the Tennessee NextGen Chair for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and serves on the planning committee for the annual ICSC Tennessee/Kentucky Idea Exchange.
