We represented a joint venture in connection with the $30 million acquisition of a 550,000 square foot open-air retail center in Indiana that includes restaurants, a movie theater and various high end retail stores. The transactions involved the simultaneous purchase of two separate phases of the project, one from a lender that had foreclosed and the other from a court-appointed receiver. The scope of our representation included the negotiation of the joint venture and the retail center acquisition.
