Kerry Price serves as Chief Strategy & Operations Officer of Bass, Berry & Sims PLC. She is responsible for firmwide strategy development and execution and oversees an integrated structure encompassing Marketing & Business Development, Accounting & Finance, Pricing & Project Management, Professional Development, Recruiting, and Inclusion & Engagement. She works closely with firm leadership on the development and implementation of the firm’s strategic plan, translating long-term priorities into operational initiatives, performance frameworks, and governance structures that support sustainable growth and client service.
Since joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Kerry has held multiple leadership roles. She previously served as Managing Director for several practice groups, supporting practice strategy and business development, and later as Director of Marketing and Communications, where she led a firmwide rebranding and modernization of the firm’s marketing function. She was subsequently appointed Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer and later Chief Strategy Officer. She assumed the role of Chief Strategy & Operations Officer in 2026.
Kerry has created multiple impactful firmwide initiatives, including the Client Experience Initiative, the firm’s Mutual Expectations Charter, BBS Accelerate (the firm’s business development training program), and the formation of the Client Value and Attorney Talent Management departments. She is passionate about incorporating the client perspective into each operational department to help drive strategy and tactical priorities.
Kerry was named a Nashville Business Journal Woman of Influence (Top Executive category) in 2024 and is a member of Leadership Nashville’s 2025 class. She is also a Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management. Prior to joining the firm, Kerry was the director of marketing and recruiting for a boutique corporate law firm. She was able to play a leadership role in that firm’s acquisition by Bass, Berry & Sims in 2014, and was recognized by the Legal Sales & Services Organization for her team’s integration work on the combination. Kerry started her career in B2B sales and marketing.
