As announced in an article published by the Memphis Business Journal, Bass, Berry & Sims has decided to renew its lease in the Peabody Office Tower and stay in Downtown Memphis for another 10 years, at least. As Richard Spore, managing partner of the Memphis office, points out in the article, many of the lawyers enjoy the conveniences of the downtown location, particularly the younger lawyers, many of whom live close to the office. The firm currently resides on the ninth and 10th floors but will move into the 13th and half of the 12th floors once renovation is complete in the new space.
