Firm Elevates Leaders and Hires Experienced Professionals to Realign C-Suite and Key Director Positions Following Extensive Strategic Assessment
Washington, D.C. / Nashville, Tenn., (March 3, 2026) – Bass, Berry & Sims is pleased to announce a strategic reorganization that creates new executive roles, expanded leadership responsibilities for several professionals, and the addition of senior talent who will support strategic growth. The new and expanded roles range from director to C-suite positions and include creatively integrated responsibilities that align all administrative functions with client value.

With this revamped leadership structure, the firm has promoted several individuals and hired new professionals in key positions to align with the firm’s strategic plan.
Expanded Leadership Roles
Craig E. Bingham has been named Chief Administrative & Operations Officer. Bingham’s title was formerly Chief Administrative Officer. In addition to his current role overseeing staff talent management, training & benefits, firm-wide technology, and research & records management, Craig will assume responsibility for HR and conflicts, while continuing to oversee IT, research, and facilities.
Kerry M. Price is now the Chief Strategy & Operations Officer. Price’s title was formerly Chief Strategy Officer where she led the firm’s marketing & business development, client value, and attorney talent management teams. In her new role, she will continue leading those functions and will add responsibility for accounting. The accounting transition will take place throughout 2026, with Price and Bingham working closely to ensure a smooth transition.
New Executive Roles
Melisa Wimsatt has been named Chief Administrative Services Officer. Wimsatt was formerly the Director of Administration and will provide strategic leadership across administrative services, integrating operational and technology functions to optimize performance, attorney productivity, and client service. Wimsatt will lead teams that span IT, office administration, legal administrative services, facilities, business analysis, training, and user experience.
Arthur Cook is now Chief Risk Management Officer. Cook will lead firm‑wide strategic risk mitigation initiatives and oversee conflicts, new business intake, information governance, and related regulatory/risk functions. He is licensed to practice law in both Tennessee and Kentucky and prior to focusing on risk management Cook represented clients in various litigation matters and transactional real estate work.
Senior Talent Supporting Strategic Growth
Lori Lorenzo has been named Director of Strategic Growth. Lorenzo joined the firm in November 2025 stepping into this new role where she will develop and execute strategic talent acquisition initiatives that attract high caliber partners in alignment with the firm’s strategic plan, its significant growth objectives, and practice goals.
Angela Dunn is now Senior Director of Human Resources. Joining the firm in October 2025, Dunn oversees HR operations, including professional recruitment, compensation, benefits, performance, compliance, and culture. She advises executive leadership to align human capital strategies with firm goals, while promoting a culture of engagement, inclusivity, and high performance.
