Mike Hill has dedicated his over 35-year career to assisting healthcare clients in reaching their objectives within the confines of their heavily regulated industry, including advising clients on corporate, transactional and operational issues. He negotiates healthcare transactions while advising on the latest regulations to ensure compliance with federal and state statutes. His clients include healthcare systems, hospitals, nursing homes, home health providers, larger physician practices and other medical providers. His practice includes:
- Healthcare Mergers, Acquisitions & Dispositions – Advising on a wide variety of business combinations and other related transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic investments, restructurings, workouts or dispositions.
- Healthcare Contracting, Regulatory & Operational – Representing individual physicians and group practices on matters such as group formation and compensation formulas, joint ventures, employment agreements, recruiting agreements and professional services arrangements.
- Healthcare Compliance – Counseling clients on compliance with the broad range of regulation applicable to the healthcare field, such as the Medicare Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law and HIPAA, and their state law equivalents.
