Nashville, Tenn., (March 14, 2016) – Bass, Berry & Sims today officially welcomes 15 attorneys from Harwell Howard Hyne Gabbert & Manner (h3gm). In addition to the 10 h3gm shareholders previously announced, Bass, Berry & Sims welcomes the following five associates to the firm.

Lara Flatau focuses on regulation, compliance and operational issues, as well as mergers and acquisitions for healthcare companies. Flatau earned her law degree from Vanderbilt Law School and a B.A. degree from Vanderbilt University.

Nathaniel F. Greene works with clients across a variety of industries on commercial real estate and financing matters. Greene earned his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He earned a B.S. and a B.B.A. degree from Middle Tennessee State University.

R. Davis Mello advises clients on corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture transactions, private securities offerings, public company reporting obligations and corporate governance; he also assists clients with intellectual property and technology transactions. Mello earned his law degree from Vanderbilt Law School. He earned a B.A. and a B.S. degree from Miami University.

Ryan M. Richards counsels clients on a variety of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, joint ventures and private offerings; he also works with clients on private equity and venture capital financing transactions. Richards earned an LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center and a law degree from Emory University School of Law. He received a B.A. and a B.S. degree from Middle Tennessee State University.

Brad J. Sayles assists clients with respect to government enforcement, compliance, healthcare fraud and abuse and general day-to-day operational matters. Sayles earned his law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law. He earned an M.P.A., a B.A. and a B.S. degree from Northern Kentucky University. (Sayles is admitted to practice only in Kentucky; his Tennessee bar application is pending.)
