Nathan Brown is an associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He focuses his practice on representing clients in investigations and related litigation, and government actions, particularly involving the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law. In addition, Nathan assists corporate clients with internal compliance assessments and internal investigations regarding regulatory compliance matters.

Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Nathan was an associate at Browne George Ross O’Brien Annaguey & Ellis LLP and Paul Hastings LLP where he advised on such areas of law as white collar criminal defense, the False Claims Act, securities enforcement and litigation, civil and criminal procedure, and various evidentiary issues.

During law school, Nathan served as a judicial extern for the Honorable R. Gary Klausner of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Prior to attending law school, Nathan served as an intelligence officer for the U.S. Air Force and the Hawaii Air National Guard.
