Representation of National Long-Term Care Pharmacy Company

We represented a national long-term care pharmacy company through the negotiation of a consent order with the state Board of Pharmacy after a pharmacy branch in Tennessee dispensed controlled substances without a valid prescription. After the Board of Pharmacy initially recommended that the pharmacy be placed on one year of probation accompanied by a civil penalty, we were able to reduce the final consent order to a nominal fine with no probation.
