For more than 40 years, Mark Manner has provided counsel to corporate boards, executives and significant shareholders on governance, securities issuances and disclosures, private equity and mergers and acquisitions. He applies his years of experience to effectively navigate complex interpersonal relationships in order to resolve issues and enhance shareholder value. He has substantial experience structuring and negotiating complex mergers, acquisitions, private equity and securities transactions, initial and follow-on securities offerings, venture capital financings and leveraged buyouts.

Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Mark was a founding member and served as the managing shareholder at Harwell Howard Hyne Gabbert & Manner, P.C. Previously he worked in Washington, D.C. with the Appellate Section of the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, and served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in Alexandria, Virginia.
