We represented HealthStream (NASDAQ: HSTM) in its acquisition of Morrisey Associates for $48 million cash. Morrisey’s products look to automate the credentialing process from the on boarding of doctors through to their reappointment and the assessment of their specific competencies. The company is now part of HealthStream’s provider solutions segment, which also includes the HealthLine Systems and SyMed Development businesses, which were acquired last year and in 2012, respectively.
HealthStream, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSTM) offers a suite of software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions that are used by healthcare employees in the U.S. for training and learning management, talent management, performance assessment, credentialing and managing simulation-based training programs.
