Jon Stanley's practice involves a variety of corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities filings, corporate governance and other strategic issues. Within these fields he serves a broad base of clients, ranging from large private equity firms to founder-owned local businesses. In the last three years, Jon has represented companies in more than $3.6 billion in closed M&A transactions. His practice includes:
- Mergers & Acquisitions – Representing clients on a variety of public and private change of control transactions, including special committee representation, going private transactions, tender offers and transactions in heavily regulated industries.
- Public Company Advisory & Corporate Governance – Advising companies on various corporate governance and SEC compliance issues, including periodic filings with the SEC, and matters related to executive compensation and fiduciary duties of board of directors.
