We represented Addus HomeCare Corporation (Nasdaq: ADUS), the nation’s largest public provider of personal home care and support services, in its acquisition of Queen City Hospice, LLC, and its affiliate Miracle City Hospice, LLC for a cash purchase price of $192.0 million. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Queen City Hospice currently serves an average daily census of approximately 900 patients across the state of Ohio, including patients in the Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton markets.
The Addus acquisition of Queen City Hospice and its affiliate was recognized as a winner at The Deal Awards 2021 in the “Healthcare, Pharma & Biotech Deal of the Year (Middle Market).” Read more about the award here.
This transaction was also named a winner in the Healthcare/Life Sciences Deal of the Year (Over $100MM) category for the 20th Annual M&A Advisor Awards in 2021. The firm was also named Law Firm of the Year in 2021.
