Kathryn Walker serves as vice chair of the firm’s 100-attorney Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, internal investigations, and government investigations and enforcement.
With more than 20 years of complex business litigation experience, Kathryn has helped clients resolve a wide variety of business and commercial disputes in state and federal courts around the country as well as in private arbitrations and mediations. She has also provided counseling and advice to companies overseas on disputes and investigations.

She has also provided counseling and advice to companies overseas on disputes and investigations.
Kathryn has represented numerous clients in bet-the-company litigation with significant financial and reputational risks, ranging from precedent-setting opioid litigation to high-stakes securities class actions. She advises clients in a wide array of industries with an emphasis on healthcare and life sciences.
With extensive experience in data management and e-discovery, Kathryn is frequently called upon to lead massive electronic data analysis projects in high-stakes litigation and investigations.
Kathryn’s practice involves:
- Business Disputes – Representing clients in various commercial disputes in areas such as breach of contract, fraud, consumer protection, intellectual property and technology, securities and shareholder, and trade secrets and non-compete matters.
- Internal Investigations – Conducting internal investigations on behalf of both public and private companies involving potential corporate compliance matters, such as healthcare fraud violations and corporate wrongdoing.
- Compliance & Government Investigations – Representing clients in civil investigations, including developing and implementing compliance policies and programs, as well as complex international investigations.
- Data Security & Privacy Matters – Advising on electronic information security best practices, data breach ramifications and response, data retention plans, and design and use of creative technology solutions for data management.
Prior to attending law school, Kathryn was an art historian and art curator with a specialty in Contemporary American Art and 19th Century British Art.
