Nashville, Tenn., (February 6, 2025) – Bass, Berry & Sims is pleased to announce the addition of 23 new associates, including two in Memphis and 21 in Nashville.

Corporate & Securities
Holden Branscum (Nashville) joined the Corporate & Securities Practice where his practice focuses on the tax aspects of entity formations, reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, spin-offs, capital markets transactions, and venture capital and private equity investments. Branscum also counsels clients on federal tax controversy matters. Prior to joining Bass, Berry, & Sims, Branscum was a tax associate in KPMG’s Washington National Tax office. He received an LL.M. in taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center (2023), a law degree from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law (2022), a Master of Business Administration from the University of Memphis Fogelman College of Business (2022), and an undergraduate degree from Hendrix College (2019). Branscum also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Albert G. Lauber in the U.S. Tax Court and the Honorable Thomas L. Parker in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
In addition, the following seven associates join the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice where they counsel clients in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions and securities regulations matters and filings.
