Melisa Wimsatt is the Director of Administration at Bass, Berry & Sims. She is responsible for the daily operations of the law firm including secretarial support, facilities, and conference center operations. In this role, she works closely with senior management and members to ensure quality administrative, operational and practice support. In addition, Melisa leads the training and project management team to provide the firm’s attorneys with the proper tools to deliver maximum value to clients. Utilizing her skills in project management, Melisa provides leadership and guidance for a variety of firm projects related to financial operations, information technology roll-outs, facilities management and human resources functions.
Melisa is a past board member for the Tennessee chapter of the Association for Talent Development. Prior to joining the firm, Melisa held positions in the training and development fields in a variety of industries, including healthcare, nonprofit and outplacement/recruiting. She earned a B.A. in psychology and an M.S. in social work from the University of Louisville.
