Melisa Wimsatt is the Special Projects Manager at Bass, Berry & Sims. In this role, she works closely with the Chief Operations Officer to develop and implement practical strategies, plans and solutions for key organizational initiatives. As part of her responsibilities, she works closely with the firm’s stakeholders to provide attorneys with the proper tools to deliver maximum value to clients. Utilizing her skills in project management, Melisa provides leadership and guidance for a variety of firm projects related to financial operations, information technology roll-outs, facilities management and human resources functions. In addition, Melisa oversees the training throughout the firm for all employees.

Melisa is a member of the Association for Talent Development and a past board member for the Tennessee chapter of the organization. Prior to joining the firm, Melisa held positions in the training and development fields in a variety of industries, including healthcare, nonprofit and outplacement/recruiting. She earned a B.A. in psychology and an M.S. in social work from the University of Louisville.
