Angela Dunn is the Senior Director of Human Resources at Bass, Berry & Sims. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the HR function, including leading HR operations—recruitment, compensation, benefits, performance, compliance, and culture for the firm. She also serves in an advisory capacity to executive leadership to ensure human capital strategies support overall firm goals while promoting a culture of engagement, inclusivity, and high performance.
Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Angela was the Vice President of Human Resources at Genesco Inc. where she led human resources strategy, operations and transformation initiatives and partnered directly with senior executives and board-level stakeholders to align talent strategy with evolving business goals. She has more than 20 years of experience in the HR industry, leading high-performing teams and designing scalable, business-aligned people strategies in complex, multi-site organizations.
Angela earned an MBA from Christian Brothers University and a BBA from the University of Memphis. During her decades-long career, she has earned various HR-related certifications and completed professional training programs to further her knowledge of the industry, including:
