Jay MoneyhunTell us about your practice.
I practice primarily in the areas of commercial real estate transactions, commercial lending, economic development incentives and public finance. Recently, I have been particularly busy in the economic development area with multiple property tax abatement deals and tax increment financing deals. With regard to tax increment financing, I also co-authored an article that was published in the Spring 2014 issue of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law.

You recently joined the firm as a lateral associate. Can you tell us about that experience?
It has been great. I had a strong foundation from my prior firm that has blended well with my current practice. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to learn under incredible mentors. Currently, this is certainly the case.

What is the most fulfilling part of your job?
Providing excellent service, obtaining a good result for the client, and creating a positive impact on all parties involved in the deal.
