They will offer attendees insight on how to grow with a partner or sell outright to a team that can take it to the next level. In addition, Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Mike Kuffner will speak on a panel titled, “Transition or Exit: How to Build Long-Term Value in Family-Owned Enterprises Before the Deal.” Mike will be joined by Michael Marzec – Managing Partner at Smart Business Network, Jacob Herschend – Principal at Brightstar Capital Partners and Rick Isaacson – CEO at ServPro. They will provide actionable advice for building a long-term plan for your family business, whether it is preparing to transition the business to the next generation, contemplating a sale, or even a partial exit.
