Phil Fox counsels clients on corporate issues including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, and other strategic transactions. In addition, Phil represents private equity clients and their portfolio companies in buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions. He also advises on growth equity transactions and corporate governance matters, including the incorporation and organization of corporations, limited liability companies and limited partnerships and supervision of their ongoing governance, such as the amendment of formation and organizational agreements, resolutions and board consents.
Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Phil was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in its Palo Alto, California office. He earned his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law and a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.
