$880 Million Term Loan for Gaylord Rockies Resort

We represented Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc. in connection with the refinancing of its Gaylord Rockies joint venture’s existing construction and mezzanine loans relating to the new Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado. This transaction’s complexity arose from the various development and public incentive documents and consents, the ongoing relationship with Marriott as the manager of the resort and convention center, and the joint venture investment structure for this particular property. The Gaylord Rockies, which opened in December 2018, contains 1,500 hotel rooms and 486,000 square feet of meeting and convention space.

Ryman Hospitality Properties (NYSE: RHP) is a real estate investment trust specializing in group-oriented, destination hotel assets in urban and resort markets.
