Peter Rathmell is an associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group where he represents clients in complex business litigation and government investigations.

Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Peter served as a law clerk to the Honorable Chief Magistrate Judge Tu M. Pham of the U.S. District Court, Western District of Tennessee. Peter earned his law degree from Tulane University Law School and a B.A. in journalism from Washington and Lee University. During undergraduate school, Peter worked at several media outlets, including the Chapel Hill Magazine, U.S. News and World Report and Military Times.
