To help companies within their jurisdictions comply with state annual meeting requirements, certain states are taking action by executive order or legislative amendment to allow virtual shareholder meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“There probably will be more pressure put on states to allow this, if it bears itself as something that works well,” said Eric.
