As the “oldest living graduate” of the University of the South, Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Mr. Bass was profiled recently by his alma mater’s online newspaper. In the article, Mr. Bass recounts his time at the University of the South and how much the university has changed since he was a student in 1928. Mr. Bass points out that the “two biggest changes were the size and the inclusion of women. ‘I knew everybody, but now you can’t do that. It’s just a different institution than when I was there, but it still has the traditions and characters that it had when I was a student, I don’t think it’s changed that much.'”
