Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Mark Mamantov was quoted in an article outlining the details of payment-in-lieu-of-taxes (PILOT) lease that was unanimously approved by the Jefferson County Industrial Development Board (IDB) for a new Ford dealership in Dandridge, Tennessee. Mark, who represented the IDB in the negotiations of the PILOT lease, explained the details of the agreement, noting that the point system for this PILOT was “slightly adapted to fit the retail agreement.”
