Bass, Berry & Sims is pleased to announce that Brant Phillips has been elected a Fellow of the Tennessee Bar Foundation.  This prestigious honor recognizes an attorney’s exceptional contributions to the legal profession and the public good.  Established in 1982, the Tennessee Bar Foundation is a statewide philanthropic organization dedicated to furthering the legal profession’s integrity and highest ideals. Each year, only 30 lawyers from across the state are selected as Fellows, representing less than 5% of licensed attorneys in Tennessee.  The Foundation will formally recognize Brant and others in the Class of 2026 at the Fellows’ Dinner on June 12 in conjunction with the Tennessee Bar Association’s convention in Knoxville.

The Bar Foundation makes a tangible difference in Tennessee. The organization administers the Interest On Lawyers’ Trust Accounts or IOLTA program – an access to justice program that has granted over $30 million to organizations that provide direct legal services to indigent Tennesseans and enhance access to justice for all.

Brant is chair of the firm’s 100-attorney Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group.
