Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Angie Bergman was named the winner in the Legal Services category for the 2026 Nashville Emerging Leaders Awards (NELAS). The annual awards are given out by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and YP Nashville. The NELAS honor the Nashville region’s emerging leaders, outstanding young professionals aged 21–40, for their career accomplishments and community contributions.

Angie Bergman
Angie represents healthcare providers and companies facing claims of fraud, patient protection violations, and government investigations. She advises clients in connection with False Claims Act litigation, self-disclosures, internal investigations, and responding to governmental inquiries concerning issues of alleged healthcare fraud and abuse. In addition, Angie is an active participant in the firm’s pro bono initiatives, devoting significant efforts to fighting for the constitutional rights of Tennesseans, juvenile justice, and other criminal justice reform issues in the state.
