For the second year in a row, Bass, Berry & Sims was recognized with the Leadership Award from the Nashville Bar Association’s (NBA) Diversity Committee. This award recognizes law firms that promote workplace diversity through organizational diversity practices designed to develop and maintain recruitment and retention of law students and lawyers from ethnically diverse backgrounds. Bass, Berry & Sims was one of several firms that received the award in 2018.
In addition, Bass, Berry & Sims attorney David Esquivel received the prestigious Liberty Bell Award from the NBA. This award is bestowed to a person or group who have promoted better understanding of the rule of law, encouraged greater respect for law and the courts, stimulated a sense of civic responsibility, or contributed to good government.
The awards were distributed in conjunction with the annual NBA Law Day Luncheon on May 4, 2018.
