We represent Pinnacle Financial Partners in connection with its intellectual property matters, including ongoing trademark portfolio prosecution, maintenance and enforcement proceedings before the TTAB. Additionally, we represented Pinnacle in its naming rights sponsorship with both the Tennessee Titans and Memphis Grizzlies professional sports teams.
We also advised Pinnacle in its naming rights partnership with Southwest Value Partners and Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), co-developers of the Nashville Yards mixed-use district, to become the exclusive naming rights partner for the development’s 4,500-capacity music venue. The state-of-the-art entertainment venue, now known as The Pinnacle, is set to open in 2025. The deal represents the first naming rights partnership for Pinnacle and was covered by the media, including the following articles:
