Incentive Negotiation for $4 Billion Nuclear Processing Plant

We represented The Industrial Development Board of the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and Roane County, Tennessee, in connection with negotiating the incentives used to attract a $4 billion nuclear processing plant to Oak Ridge. The facility, developed by Orano USA, the U.S. entity of the French multinational Orano SA, will be the largest commercial nuclear processing plant in the United States, spanning 750,000 square feet across a 920-acre site. At the outset of the project, the facility’s development marks the single largest capital investment in Tennessee’s history and will create more than 300 new jobs.
