We served as underwriter’s counsel to Raymond James in connection with a $73 million tax-exempt bond issuance for a public-private partnership (P3) student housing project at a Tennessee public university. Proceeds from the bonds are being used to finance the development of new on-campus student housing facilities, including a four-story building with 542 beds and an adjacent parking lot with 289 spaces. This transaction represents the first P3 student housing financing completed for a Board of Regents university in Tennessee and set a precedent for future P3 structures within the state’s higher education system.
