Bass, Berry & Sims Chief Attorney Talent Officer Devin Lintzenich and Professional Development Manager Kayla Broom will speak about data driven professional development (PD) strategy at the Professional Development Consortium 2024 Summer Conference. Data helps PD departments demonstrate how they contribute to the business; it helps them move into the category of “strategic” instead of just “nice to have.” In this presentation, the speakers will (1) discuss the rationale for establishing PD metrics; (2) share examples of data they track following a training program, related to attrition, and for their annual impact report; and (3) provide a case study of how they used the data in one instance to develop, garner buy in for and launch an innovation.
