Bass, Berry & Sims attorneys Brian Roark and Nesrin Tift will participate in the 32nd Annual Health Law Forum hosted by the Tennessee Bar Association (TBA) October 8-9, 2020.

Nesrin will co-present a session titled, “Telehealth and Privacy,” where she and Joan Kavuru of Forefront Telecare Inc. will discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically shifted the regulatory and reimbursement landscape of telemedicine, as well as how to navigate privacy and security challenges in the rapid expansion of telehealth.

Brian will be joined by Chris Sabis of Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison PLC and Jennifer Weaver of Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis LLP for a session titled, “Healthcare Fraud Enforcement Update,” that will cover how government enforcement and qui tam litigation has been impacted by COVID-19, as well as the most important healthcare fraud developments from the past year.
