Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Anna Grizzle will be speaking at the HCCA 28th Annual Compliance Institute. Anna will be speaking on a panel titled “P31 – SNF Provider Compliance: Addressing Common Compliance Issues and Pitfalls to Avoid.” Anna will be speaking with J. Veronica Xu of Saber Healthcare Group. The panel will cover the following:
- Review fact-based scenarios of compliance issues, such as referral source arrangements, regulatory and documentation requirements, and billing issues
- Understand regulatory framework for identified issues and potential legal ramifications arising from compliance missteps
- Learn action steps to investigate and correct issues and mitigate risk, including recommendations for arrangement structure and compliance oversight
