Bass, Berry & Sims attorneys Mary Leigh Pirtle, Tim Garrett, Laura Mallory and Kimberly Veirs will present during the 2022 Employment Law Conference hosted by the Middle Tennessee Society of Human Resource Management (MTSHRM). The conference will take place in Franklin, Tennessee at the Hilton Franklin Cool Springs on October 20-21, 2022. The first day of programing will feature general sessions and breakout discussions that focus on FLSA, FMLA, ADA, discrimination and Title VII laws, among others. On the second day, attendees will learn from the perspective of attorneys through a mock trial experience, followed by a Q&A where audience members will have the opportunity to ask an attorney panel any pressing legal questions they may have.

Mary Leigh, Laura and Kimberly will all be participating in the mock trial on October 21 from 8:00-10:00 a.m. CST titled, “Sexual Harassment & Age Discrimination – ADEA and Title VII.” Laura will serve as the defense counsel, Kimberly will serve as a witness and Mary Leigh will be a moderator. In addition to the mock trial, Mary Leigh will also serve as a moderator and Tim will serve as a panelist during the “Ask an Attorney Panel,” taking place from 10:30-11:30 a.m. CST.
