Melisa Wimsatt is the Chief Administrative Services Officer at Bass, Berry & Sims. In this role, she provides strategic leadership for the firm’s administrative services teams and is responsible for overseeing and integrating all administrative, operational, and technology functions to optimize firm performance, attorney productivity, and client service. Melisa manages a diverse team spanning information technology, office administration, legal administrative services, facilities, business analysis, training, and user experience functions. She works closely with firm leadership to develop and execute operational strategies, drive process improvements, and ensure seamless coordination across departments to support the firm’s growth, efficiency and innovation objectives. Prior to serving in this role, Melisa was the Director of Administration at the firm.
Melisa is a past board member for the Tennessee chapter of the Association for Talent Development. Prior to joining the firm, Melisa held positions in the training and development fields in a variety of industries, including healthcare, nonprofit and outplacement/recruiting. She earned a B.A. in psychology and an M.S. in social work from the University of Louisville.
