Ethan Rode counsels clients on debt financing transactions. His practice focuses on:
- Representing borrowers and lenders in financing transactions, including term loan facilities, asset based financings, revolving credit facilities and real estate financing transactions.
- Advising clients on debt finance compliance and corporate governance matters.
- Counseling private equity sponsors on acquisition facilities, capital call facilities and credit facilities for their portfolio companies.
Ethan also collaborates with the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group on corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, for public and private companies, which involve financing and real estate issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Ethan was an associate at McGuireWoods LLP in its Atlanta office where he represented banks and other financial institutions in various finance transactions. He earned a law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and undergraduate degrees in economics and government from Wesleyan University. During law school Ethan was an intern for the Honorable Leigh Martin May with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
