Andrés Martínez is an associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group where he represents clients in complex business litigation and government investigations.
Prior to attending law school, Andrés served as the director of policy and communications at Conexión Américas where he provided strategic counsel to the organization’s leadership. Andrés is actively involved in the Nashville community, having been appointed or elected to serve in various leadership positions including on the Metro Nashville Community Oversight Board, Special Bombing Review Commission and Community Safety Partnership Advisory Board.
Andrés earned a law degree from Belmont University College of Law, a Master of Public Policy from Hertie School of Governance (Berlin, Germany), and an undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin. During law school he served as a judicial intern at the Davidson County (Tennessee) Chancery Court Part III. Andrés has native proficiency in Spanish, and intermediate proficiency in French and German.
