As the Director of Strategic Growth, Lori Lorenzo leads the firm’s partner recruiting and strategic talent acquisition efforts. She is responsible for developing and executing industry leading initiatives that attract high caliber partners in alignment with the firm’s strategic plan, leadership’s vision, firm growth objectives and practice goals. Lori has decades of experience leading innovative operational and administrative program strategy development and execution, driving client engagement and business development programs related to all facets of global, cross-functional firm-wide initiatives.
As a former practicing attorney, Lori has more than 20 years of experience working in the legal industry at law firms and with legal departments. Most recently, she was the Director of Client Experience & Market Engagement—Legal Sector at Ernst & Young LLP and Eminence Director for the Chief Legal Officer Program at Deloitte where she established and scaled data-driven, international, firm-wide business development and client engagement programs with the goal of deepening brand permission and growing market share in the legal sector. Prior to her work in the Big Four, she helped launch the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) in Washington, D.C. where she was responsible for engaging with Fortune 500 chief legal officers and AMLaw 200 managing partners to design career enhancing professional development experiences for top performing law firms and in-house lawyers at all levels. She began her legal career as a structured finance lawyer in the Charlotte, North Carolina, offices of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP and Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP.
