Meg Hancock Klein is an associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group where she represents clients in complex business litigation and government investigations. She has experience advising clients in enforcement matters and inquiries by various government agencies including the Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), among others. Meg works with clients across industry sectors with an emphasis in the healthcare space.
Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Meg was an associate at Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC in its Nashville office. She received her law degree from Vanderbilt Law School and her undergraduate degree in English from Duke University. During law school, Meg served as a law clerk to Magistrate Judge Chip Frensley with the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.

Additional Experience
- Served as trial counsel in a multimillion-dollar real estate dispute involving land valuations, where the trial judge based the property’s ultimate valuation on evidence presented by the trial team.
- Served as trial counsel for a real estate investor in a complex commercial dispute involving the dissolution of a partnership in a Davidson Chancery Court bench trial.
- Defense of a national property management company in high-stakes multidistrict litigation in an antitrust matter.
