She has counseled companies in many healthcare sectors, including hospitals, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, home health agencies, hospices and skilled nursing facilities.
Marianne has advised healthcare companies on federal regulations and state laws on reimbursements in all 50 states, providing analysis of health plan documents, contracts and arrangements. She has assisted healthcare companies in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures that comply with healthcare fraud and abuse laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, the physician self-referral prohibition commonly known as the Stark Law, and the False Claims Act. Marianne also has experience with HIPAA compliance, from advising on privacy matters to drafting Business Associate Agreements.
