Eric Allen counsels clients on corporate and securities issues including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and securities regulations matters and filings. In addition, he represents private equity firms and portfolio companies in various transactions.
Eric earned a law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law and an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Tennessee. During law school, Eric was a student attorney at the Transactional Law Clinic where he worked alongside students and professors to advise clients on nonprofit formation and governance; Tennessee alcohol laws; and environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a fund manager at LaPorte Torch Fund where he advised on the portfolio’s healthcare positions.
