Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Leigh Walton was named one of the six women inductees to the 2015 Academy for Women of Achievement (AWA) by the YWCA of Nashville & Middle Tennessee. The women will be honored at a celebration and induction dinner on October 15, 2015 presented by the YWCA and First Tennessee.
Event co-chairwoman Mendy Mazzo said of this year’s Academy, “These honorees selflessly work toward the improvement of Nashville and deserve recognition for all they’ve done. Their professional and personal contributions inspire others to succeed, and they are incredible community role models.”
In addition, Bass, Berry & Sims was chosen as the 2015 corporate honoree. Corporate honorees are selected based on their engagement with female employees and for building a positive work environment for all employees. These honorees provide opportunities for women to enter the workforce and advance in their careers.
