The Memphis office of Bass, Berry & Sims was recognized as a 2021 Tennessee Supreme Court Recognized Law Office for Justice. Bass, Berry & Sims is the first, and currently the only, firm in the state to qualify for the 2021 honor.
To qualify for this recognition, a law firm (or office of a firm, if the firm has multiple offices) must have total pro hono hours equivalent to 50 hours per attorney. In 2020, attorneys in our Memphis office invested an average of 50 pro bono hours per attorney to strengthen families, empower communities and protect civil rights. This pro bono support included work with Tennessee Innocence Project, Advance Memphis, and Neighborhood Preservation, Inc. More information about the Tennessee Supreme Court Program can be found here.
