The proposed changes include redefining where projects are located, raising the investment threshold and making more EB-5 visas available. “EB-5 can be a relatively inexpensive source of capital for real estate developers and presents an opportunity that is largely untapped in Nashville despite a booming commercial real estate market,” said the authors.
