Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Michael Dashefsky was profiled in an FTCWatch article highlighting his recent move to the firm. Michael was previously Vice President and Associate General Counsel of Global Litigation and Competition at Visa and also had previously served as a lead trial attorney at the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice (DOJ) and as a prosecutor with the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) Bureau of Competition. In his role with the firm, Michael will now represent clients on antitrust matters involving mergers and acquisitions, non-merger investigations and cases, joint ventures and other strategic transactions. In these matters, he represents and advises companies that are before the DOJ, FTC, state antitrust authorities and foreign competition agencies. In addition, Michael advises clients on domestic and international antitrust litigation and regulatory inquiries.
