Al BrightBass, Berry & Sims attorney Al Bright, Jr. was named to the Memphis Business Journal Power 100 list for 2023. This is the fourth time Al was named to the annual list; he also was included in the 2019, 2021 and 2022 issues. The annual list features the 100 individuals whose entrepreneurial spark, business light, and civic charge electrify Memphis.

Al was included on the Power 100 list in 2023 in recognition of his work at Bass, Berry & Sims and for his leadership of the Economic Development Growth Engine (EDGE) for Memphis and Shelby County. Al’s profile in the Power 100 outlined his contributions to Memphis with the following summary:
