Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Leigh Walton has been elected to the board of directors at Miller Industries, Inc. (NYSE: MLR). In addition, Leigh will also serve on the board’s audit, compensation and nominating committees.

In the announcement from Miller Industries about Leigh’s election, William G. Miller, executive chairman of the board said “We are excited to welcome Ms. Walton to our Board of Directors. Leigh is currently serving her second six-year term on the ABA’s Corporate Laws Committee, where she co-chairs the Corporate Director’s Guidebook Task Force. In September 2019, Leigh was elected to the American College of Corporate Governance Counsel, a professional and educational association of lawyers widely recognized for their achievements in corporate governance.
