Bass, Berry & Sims attorneys Jeff Gibson and Margaret Dodson were honored by the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee as Pro Bono Attorneys of the Year. Jeff and Margaret were recognized for their work on behalf of an intellectually and developmentally disabled young man whose TennCare benefits were being cut. Jeff and Margaret, along with representatives from the Tennessee Justice Center and the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee, brought a federal lawsuit to challenge the denial of benefits and assisted the client in getting the necessary medical benefits he needed.
