Bass, Berry & Sims attorneys Ashley Gholston Fowler and Dee Harleston were selected for inclusion into The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 in the state of Tennessee and Washington, D.C., respectively.

Ashley Gholston Fowler

Ashley is an associate in the firm’s Nashville, Tennessee office and provides healthcare regulatory counsel to a range of clients. She provides healthcare regulatory and transactional counsel as it relates to mergers and acquisitions, compliance and operational matters. After completing her undergraduate studies, Ashley attended medical school for several years and also directed an after-school program at the PENCIL Foundation.

Dee Harleston

Dee Harleston 2022 cropDee is an associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and provides healthcare regulatory counsel on mergers, acquisitions, compliance, and operational matters. He also represents healthcare-focused private equity clients and their portfolio companies in buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Dee advises clients related to compliance with federal healthcare laws. During law school, he worked as a legal extern at three health systems reviewing contracts to ensure compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations while advising on operational issues related to telemedicine, COVID-19, and academic medical centers.
